Composition based on a drawing by Pablo Picasso, entitled "The Rape. Nessus and Deianira" (1920). The reference to the Spanish painter is contained in an inscription at the bottom right: "Caprio[tti] + Picasso = The Rape of Sabrina". The title derives from a play of words between "Rape of the Sabine Women" and "Rape of Sabrina". An irony clearly not in line with the sensibilities of our time
